Associate Professor Sarah Lowe teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs in graphic design. Recently, she has worked on a mobile application entitled Knoxville African American Tours of Cultural Heritage, which features 14 historically and culturally significant sites in and around downtown Knoxville to promote African-American heritage and cultural tourism in Knoxville.
Professor Lowe has been invited to present this application design this month at the International Conference on Digital Storytelling in Lillehammer, Norway.
This semester Professor Lowe is collaborating with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. to prototype an interactive environment for researching victims of the Holocaust.
