Robert Trigiano, professor of Entomology and Plant Pathology, completed Plant Tissue Culture, Development and Biotechnology, his eighth edited book published by Taylor and Francis (CRC Press). The volume is scheduled for publication in October 2010. Trigiano’s book presents many of the subdisciplines of in vitro plant sciences in terms and formats that are easily digested by students but still remain useful to researchers.
Trigiano is currently working on another book, Botany: Back to Basics, which should be ready for publication in 2011. His research appears in leading horticulture, genetic and plant pathology journals, and he is editor-in-chief of Critical Reviews in Plant Sciences, a high impact journal published six times per year.
