Avigail Sachs, a visiting lecturer in the College of Architecture and Design, recently received the 2009-2010 ACSA/JAE Journal of Architectural Education Best Scholarship of Design Article Award for her article, “The Postwar Legacy of Architectural Research.” Sachs, who earned her Ph.D. in architecture at the University of California, Berkley, in 2009, specializes in the history and theory of architecture, environmental design, architecture education, and professional practice.
