Carl McHargue, director of the Center for Materials Processing, has received a Fellow of ABET Award for his “outstanding service as the TMS representative, excellent leadership and guidance during the transition to EC2000, and stellar work on INTAC in serving the international engineering community.”

Bin Hu, associate professor in materials science and engineering, has had an article published in the September issue of JOM, the journal of the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society. The article is titled “Solar Energy-Conversion in Organic Solar Cells.”

Gajanan Bhat, professor of materials science and engineering and director of the UT Nonwoven Materials Research Laboratory (UTNRL), recently presented two papers at the Annual International Nonwovens Technical Conference.
