Sally Ellingson, a graduate student in genome science and technology, has won one of 10 international Computers in Chemistry awards from the American Chemical Society. Working under Jerome Baudry, assistant professor in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, Ellingson uses high-performance computers to develop programs that will screen chemicals for their potential to interact with proteins.
