Beauvais Lyons, professor of art, presented an exhibition of his “Creative Zoology” lithographs at P.R.I.N.T Press at the University of North Texas recently. During the week-long event, he completed a small print for a Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas event and lectured on “The Art and Scholarship of Everitt Ormsby Hokes,” Mock-Documentation,” and “The Vernacular Print.”

A sculpture class taught by Patricia Tinajero, assistant professor of art, has designed and built an obelisk as part of a public art project at the Knoxville Zoo. The sculpture is part of the new lion and baboon exhibit.
