Marianne Woodside

Marianne Woodside is a professor and the Counselor Education Program Coordinator in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling.

In the past five years Dr. Woodside has been named the 2010 Chi Sigma Iota Outstanding Faculty Research Award recipient and the 2006 Helen B. Watson Research Award co-recipient, and she has coordinated all of the counselor education programs at the University of Tennessee. She has co-authored and published 11 books, 3 book chapters, 17 refereed journal articles, and presented at two international conferences and 12 national conferences. Her work on human service education is highly recognized and respected, making Woodside an international leader within the discipline.
