Wayne T. Davis

Wayne T. Davis, dean of the College of Engineering, has been elected vice chair and chair-elect of the American Society of Engineering Education’s (ASEE) Engineering Research Council for 2009-2010. Davis will serve a two-year term in the post.

The council’s work focuses on enhancing understanding of issues related to engineering research in the educational setting, and provides research-related program content at ASEE meetings. The organization works to improve the effectiveness of research operations at council member institutions and helps to establish and maintain liaisons with other scientific, engineering and educational organizations.
